About Me:

I am a parent of three adult children, one 15-year-old son, and blessed to have a wonderful grandson. All of my children and grandson were in preschool programs, as I understand how vital the early learning years sculpt a student's foundation for learning. Famous quote: “We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color".

"The thing that motivates me is chances. Chances for the assumed not going to make it child, Chances to empower the mislabeled child, Chances for the forgotten, the perceived not worth the effort to teach child. That child whom teachers whispered about in corners, that child whose inabilities and lack of comprehension skills inhabited their space within. That child who just hadn't yet arrived. For surely these are the most precious to God.

For it is written in Matthew 18:1–5 “Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”

I teach because I was that child.

or surely these are the most precious to God. For it is written in Matthew 18:1–5 “Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”

2 He called a little child to him and placed the child among them. 3 And he said: “Truly I tell you unless you change and become like little children you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. 5 And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.

What would I do if I had a chance to reach this precious child of God?

I will encourage that child to push forward, not give up, and keep pushing towards their best. I will use my chance to minister to that child, I will inspire that forgotten child to listen to that quiet still voice inside of them that unlocks All their greatness!

I will tell that child that they can do All things through Christ Jesus who strengthens them Philippians 4:13 I would tell that child that God loves and believes in you!

In His Service,

Veronica
