Welcome to a Christian Instructor-Supported CDA program, ABCTUTORLLC has devised Two programs designed to allow students to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to obtain the Child Development Associate (CDA) credential for working with children. Program #1 allows candidates to gain 120 Training Hours in the 13 Functional Areas including 10 hours in each of the 6 CDA Competency Standards.

Program #2 assists candidates in navigating the portfolio process with confidence. To get started, complete the Application Intake Form and you are enrolled! Total: 128 Training Hours

As an ABC Candidate, you can receive the 120 required training hours and tracking in the eight subject areas to ensure you are on the right track to proceed to the next steps in pursuing your CDA Credential. Candidates who join our Mentorship program also gain access to additional clock hours of professional development in early childhood. As an ABC Candidate, you will have access to remote live instruction and self-paced asynchronous learning from ABCTUTORLLC.

ABC Enrollees will receive training, mentoring, and resources upon enrollment, and have access to our Ask the Teacher Resource at a discounted rate of $20 an hour. Our Ask the Teacher Q &A platform allows you to speak live with our PDS Specialists concerning the tedious process of applying for the CDA Credential. Our Ask the Teacher? Platform is available preparing you for the CDA Verification Visit.

How Do I Sign Up?

Complete the form and pay the tuition using the link below. Once payment is received, a PDS Specialist will contact you directly to set up your plan. Each training is designed with a 1-hour maximum limit for each class competency subject area. Some LIVE remote training is required.

As an ABC Learner, you will have access to your mentor via one-to-one correspondence for guidance in portfolio preparedness, and for grammatical support on your 6 Competency Statements.

To Enroll in Our CDA Portfolio Program

Email ABC-TUTOR-LLC at cdaspprt@gmail.com an enrollment specialist will contact you directly.

Upon enrollment, you will be placed in an online self-paced classroom. This will allow your Portfolio Specialist to converse with you directly, review your materials, and guide you on what is needed as you move toward portfolio completion!

Each ABC Learner will be assigned a PD Specialist Mentor for 60 days with one weekly check-in including holidays and weekends. Some virtual sessions may be required depending on your Individual Learning Plan (ILP). Failure on the ABC Learner to compile and complete the professional portfolio in 90 days requires a new paid plan of $150 to be paid by the ABC Candidate extending your completion for an additional 90 days including weekends and holidays. (Same PDS Specialist varies depending on Specialist availability).

What is the CDA Credential?

The CDA is a national performance-based credential awarded by the CDA Council to teachers, caregivers, home visitors, and administrators who work with children from birth to age five. Within the 1st step with ABCTUTORLLC, students will better understand child developmental domains preparing candidates for working with young children. Other components include teaching with fidelity through attainable goals from individualized instruction.

The 1st step is designed with individualism in mind each session with a counselor will lead and guide you to your goals of acquiring the necessary training hours to empower confidence in professionalism. This unique program was created to prepare you for instructing young minds based on age appropriate developmental strategies promoting social emotional development which is the foundation of early childhood education.

Pay registration and enrollment fees, & you will have access to instruction. Once enrolled, we will get you aligned to the right professional development necessary to achieve the right credential for you. In addition, you will gain access to recommended extended training from an ECE program.

*Important* Before you begin the training hours here with ABC_TUTOR LLC ensure you have within 3 years of submitting your application to the National Council of Professional Recognition Obtained 480 hours of professional work experience in a center-based setting with children ages Birth-5 years old, depending on your credential.

Once you have concluded your training hours in step #1 with

ABC_TUTOR LLC and its affiliates, you will be able to continue your partnership with ABCTUTORLLC upon paying an additional $150.00 for step #2 The CDA Professional Portfolio Construction.

The 2nd step must be completed within 6 months of applying to The National Council of Professional Recognition.

Step #2 requires candidates to write 8 Competency Statements and gather a collection of reference materials related to your work, with added resources & examples of how you will provide a safe healthy learning environment for the children and families in your care.

This CDA program is designed for adults ages 18+ only anytime before you apply you must have earned a high school diploma, GED, or be enrolled as a junior or senior in a high-school career and technical program in early childhood education. All candidates are responsible for signing up for the Pearson exam and obtaining a PDS and coordinating a verification visit in your state.
