Individualized Practical Behavior Plan (IPBP)

Why Choose ABC TUTOR LLC Family Life Coaching?

ABC TUTOR LLC is a Christian-based company that provides child coaching based on scripture Proverbs 22:6 KJV Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Meaning; we provide biblically-based counsel by teaching practical applications based on the word of God, transforming the mind (Romans 12:2).

Life Coaching does not require a formal diagnosis, this is a  non-medical service.

A child life coaching expert assists children who do not suffer from severe trauma or psychological issues, but who are in need of social-emotional supports.

Many children and teenagers are resistant to therapy because of social stigma; however, coaching does not carry the same sort of emotional weight.

How can a Life Coach help my child?

A life coach can assist your child (ren) by equipping the child in identifying emotions through practical developmentally appropriate strategies to strengthen their social-emotional skills.

At ABC we allow children to evade stigma and labeling by providing alternative supports to assist them in being responsible, safe, and respectful while developing discipline, integrity, and Godly character renewing the mind. Here at ABC, we provide individualized strategies, and model language to teach children to effectively communicate what they want or need. Children are able to use newly learned tools by becoming aware of emotions and responding positively, instead of utilizing negative learned behaviors in stressful situations to communicate.

Remember each child learns emotional modulation at their own pace, but we are here to promote self-awareness in abilities by assisting children in identifying feelings and positively addressing strong emotions.

Your child may require just a few sessions or make some minor adjustments and get on track, or they may benefit from long-term coaching, whichever their plan, each plan is individualized to empower your learners’ abilities.

Tweens / Teens

Some skills include autonomy with self-care, homework, organization, responsibility, learning positive ways to be socially engaged, as well as balancing school, social activities, family life, or sports. Children often realize something in their life needs to change, but are unable to identify precisely what that something may be or have the skills or language to know how to change.

Our experienced life coaches know the right open-ended questions to ask to allow your child to draw conclusions about how negative behaviors are affecting them internally, identify how these behaviors are impacting areas of their life, and identify where improvements need to take place.

Coaches are a great choice for kids who need a solid plan for staying on track with school and other responsibilities. A life coach can help model and provide guidance in implementing positive learned skills improving relationships with parents, teachers, peers, and other authority figures.

Tier I- (IPBP Q&A)

*What is an (IPBP) Individualized Practical Behavioral Plan?

An IPBA is a plan led by a Family Life Coach. This plan involves IPBP and IPBA

An IPBA is a Q&A assessment approach to figuring out why a child acts a certain way. The assessment uses strategies to understand what's behind behavior challenges. The basic idea is that a child's behavior serves a purpose whether children understand this or not, children act in certain ways for a reason.

An IPBA Q&A is completed by the parent/caregiver or teacher the Family Life Coach interprets data and develops a (PBP) Practical Behavior Plan where a goal is identified if needed. The team then creates an Individualized PBP for the child to be implemented by the family at home as well as all Stakeholders.

If PBP is not needed then an IPBP will be suggested which involves Red and Green Choice behavior management practical applications. $75 an hour.

Vested parties will utilize a Family Life Coach check-in service once a week the duration of weeks is at consumers' discretion. *All plans are subject to cancellation if payments are not made on time for continually of  plan*

Tier II-Practical Behavior Plan (PBP)

Tier II supports involve an increased level of positive reinforcements by All vested parties PBP is led by a Family Life Coach via Zoom. In addition group interventions with two or more children participating for 1 hour may be included at consumers' request  1 to 2x a week.

Specific Tier II interventions include practicing problem-solving skills in social groups, self-management, and academic supports (Teachers within a child’s school or homeschool program). Each stakeholder must follow the plan in place to ensure consistency and accountability.

Tier I supports (R&G Choice Learning) are still utilized with children engaged in Tier 2 supports. Tier II approaches include targeted support for students who are not successful with Tier I supports alone. The focus is on supporting students who are at risk for developing more serious problem behaviors. This is an intervention strategy implemented before additional negative behaviors begin. Essentially, the support at this level is more focused than Tier I and less intensive than Tier III (ex, a pregnant family.)  $150 a month. *All plans are subject to cancellation if payments are not made on time for continually of  plan*
